Minnie

there are a couple of ways you could start building credit, you could get a small personal loan which you might need a cosigner or the best way will be getting a credit cards, you could get a credit card and use it for your every day expenses but make sure you pay in full at the end of the month that way it will show pay in full everytime the credit card company reports to the credit beuros. At the begining you will only be approved for the lower end credit cards but once you build credit in about 6-9 months you should be able to apply for a better card with better benefits such as free miles or cash back. Check out and go under bad or no credit section and you will find a few choices. But if you are a student apply of a student credit card these cards have no annual fees and low rates

No. What you seek does not exist.

But if you can prove that you have made on-time payments to cell phone providers and utility companies, then you might get the card since you can prove that you can be trusted to manage your money wisely.

Ida

You MIGHT get a store card but that is about it. With the recession, credit card companies are really restricting credit and what you are asking for is pretty much impossible to get now.

Alma

Yes, there are instant approval credit cards available for those with good credit or bad credit. With instant approval credit cards, you can apply online and receive notice of your acceptance or denial within seconds after filling out an online application for an instant approval credit card. Certain circumstances do occasionally arise in which more time will be needed to determine if you are approved or not. To learn more or apply for an instant approval credit card, go here:

Anthony

if you are trying to get a credit card, and are having trouble being approved, do not be alarmed. I am certain that there is a perfect card out there for you. Check out. The "review section" of each card explains in depth, what you need in order to qualify.

Esther

I work as a credit card analyst, manually reviewing credit reports to determine whether or not to approve or deny credit line increases, APR decreases, and general applications for credit, and I thought that you asked a pretty interesting question that I'd like to answer based upon not only my professional, but personal experience as well.

The only time that "instant approval" is "instant approval", is when you have A-1 credit. The more credit problems you have, the less likely that "instant approval" will be so instant. There's a lot of factors that are involved with that. Most times when you get those "pre-selected" or "pre-approved" offers in the mail, the offers are based on a general profile that your credit history may fall under, which is fairly generic, since in order to get approved you have to formally apply, and your credit is actually reviewed.

To answer your question about whether there's a good credit card that will approve you, honestly, cards like that are few and far between, especially with the way the industry's taken a beating (trust me, I see it everyday), and the best option in your case by far and away would be a secured credit card. These are the easiest credit cards to get, mainly because a collateral deposit is reuqired upfront in order to establish a matching credit line. For example, if you deposit $300, then your credit line would be $300. With a secured card, you use your own money to assume the risk, and once you prove you're creditworthy, the deposit is given back sometime later on.

Hopefully, my answer can help shed some light on your situation....
